Getting Involved
We typically meet on the first Monday of every month (One week later if it falls on a Bank Holiday), alternating between face to face meetings and Zoom calls. Our face to face meetings are held at the wonderful Maggie's cancer centre in Oxford.

Who We Are
We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive friendship group, for anyone affected by kidney cancer and provide a safe space for open dialogue, mutual understanding and shared experiences. Some of our members have been members for many years and some have only just joined. Some come on their own, but many come with a partner or family. All are welcome.

We are not a professional body or a charity and we are not medically qualified, but we are a group of like minded individuals, who come together to both give and gain support, with everything and anything related to kidney cancer, it's diagnosis, it's treatment and it's side-effects, both physical and mental.

We have a wealth of experience amongst us and we can share real-life experience of how we have dealt with the likes of side-effects, travelling abroad, diet and understanding treatment terminology.

We regularly invite interesting and insightful speakers to join our meetings. These experts have covered a breadth of topics from hospital administration to the development of cancer vaccines and the advancement of AI in cancer treatment.

We are an interactive group, who give back valuable patient feedback to medics who are often determining our future treatment plans.
